Chapter 1: Establishing Connection Between Mobile and PC
First, insert the AI VoiceWriter portable software USB drive into your computer.
Open File Explorer and select "This PC". You will see that the AI VoiceWriter USB drive contains two partitions. The first partition is the CD-ROM for storing the program files. The second partition can be used to store user data.
If this is your first time connecting the AI VoiceWriter USB drive to your computer and the software does not auto-run, please right-click on the AI VoiceWriter partition, select "Open," and double-click [VIATALKLaunch.exe] to start it manually.
Step 1: Confirm Computer and Mobile Device Readiness
First, Launch the AI VoiceWriter software on your computer.
(1) If the AI VoiceWriter app isn't installed on your mobile device, tap [Not Installed] and follow Step 2.
(2) If the AI VoiceWriter app is installed on your mobile device, tap [Installed] and proceed to Step 3.
Step 2: Install the AI VoiceWriter APP
On your Android or iOS device, open the built-in camera and scan the installation QR code displayed on the screen. Once redirected to the app store, download and install the AI VoiceWriter APP.
Step 3: Connect Your Mobile Device and Computer
Open the AI VoiceWriter APP on your mobile device.
Use the scanning feature within the app to scan the connection QR code displayed on your computer
screen. When the app shows the "Ready" message, the connection is successful, and you can begin using all features.
Reminder: If the screen does not automatically redirect to the connection QR code, please tap to navigate to the connection QR code.
Once pairing is complete, your mobile device will display "Ready" and show a microphone button.

Chapter 2: Opening the AI Workspace
The AI VoiceWriter taskbar on your PC includes the following functions:
- Language recognition: You can switch between different recognition languages through the mobile app.

Expand AI workspace: Provides functions such as AI refine article, AI Proofread, AI rewriting, and translation.
Note: When the recognition language is Traditional Chinese/Simplified Chinese/Hong Kong Chinese, the AI refine ar ticle function is provided; for other recognition languages, AI proofread and AI rewrite functions are available. - Open the PenPower AI Assistant: Let AI assist you in writing emails, publishing articles, answering questions, rewriting, summarizing, and other tasks.
- Open AI Translation Chat: Using a multilingual chat room powered by AI translation, users can effortlessly communicate in their native languages, with AI automatically translating the conversation into a language the other person understands.

More: Provides functions such as settings, demonstration tutorials, clearing connection history, and
customer service email. - Pronunciation: Read aloud the text in the workspace.

Refine Article: Let AI check for grammatical errors or
refine unclear meanings.

for different audiences. - Translation: Translate the text in the workspace.

Send text to: Send the text in the workspace to other
applications, such as Microsoft Word. - Clear: Clear the text content in the workspace.

Undo: Restore the text content in the workspace that
has been cleared or changed. -
Font size: Increase or decrease the font in the
workspace. - Workspace: The text recognized by voice recognition will be displayed here, and the text can be edited.
Click to open the AI Workspace. Then, click the microphone button on the mobile app to start voice input. You will see the text appear in the workspace.
Note: Some buttons like AI Proofreading and Rewriting will be inactive until text is entered into the workspace.
If you notice errors or missing punctuation in your input, click AI Proofreading
You will see that the punctuation and most spelling errors have been corrected by AI.
Next, you can ask AI to rewrite the text by clicking . You can see a settings pane slide out from the left. Use the scroll bar to complete the various settings.
- AI Output Language: Control which language AI will use for rewriting. If your text is in Traditional Chinese and you choose "English" as the AI output language, the AI will first translate and then rewrite the text in English.
- Style: Choose from various styles such as formal, humorous, critical, etc.
- Target Audience: Choose from general audience, kid-friendly, or professionals.
- Custom Prompt: Typically, this can be left blank. But if you have specific instructions for AI, enter them here.
Here is an example of a rewritten text with a humorous style and a kid-friendly audience:
Once the AI rewrite meets your expectations, you can send the text to a word processing application, such as Microsoft Word. Open the word processing software and click once in the input area to ensure the cursor is in the text entry state.
Then, click to transfer the text from the workspace to the word processing software. You will notice that the workspace has been cleared, and the text has been sent to the word processing software.
If you want to undo the text sent, you can click this button to bring the text back into the workspace.
Click Translate to translate the text.
Chapter 3: Directly Sending Text to Target Applications
The AI Workspace offers AI-assisted proofreading and rewriting after voice input. However, you can also directly input the voice content into the target application, such as a word processing software or email application.
Click this button to collapse the workspace. The taskbar will look like this:
First, open the target application, such as a word processing software, and click once in the input area to ensure the cursor is in the text entry state. Then, start voice input, and you will see the text directly entered into the target application.
Chapter 4: Opening PenPower AI Assistant
In addition to the deeply integrated AI Proofreading and AI Rewriting functions in the workspace, you can click this button to open PenPower AI Assistant, allowing the AI assistant to help you with more writing tasks.
Functions Description:
On the left is the task list with five tasks currently available:
- Write an email: AI helps you compose an email; you only need to provide the necessary information, and AI will expand on it.
- Write an essay: AI assists you in writing; you only need to provide an outline, and AI will expand on it.
- Ask AI: AI helps answer your questions. You can specify the difficulty level, ranging from "Kid friendly" to "Deeply professional."
- Rewrite: AI assists you in rewriting; provide the content, and AI will rewrite it in different styles.
- Summary: AI helps summarize; choose from "Summary," "Presentation," or "List" formats.
- On the right side of each task are the content fields and related setting options.
- In the bottom left corner, you can adjust the font size.
- After filling in the necessary content and setting options for the task, click the Submit button in the lower right corner to send.
For example, if we choose the "Ask AI" task and ask, "Why is the sky blue?" with the difficulty level set to "Kid friendly" and the response length set to within 500 words, and specify the answer in English.
If you're not satisfied with AI's response, click the Back button in the upper left corner to return to the previous page and adjust the settings.
You can use the Copy button to copy AI's response and paste it into other applications.
Alternatively, you can first click the target application to ensure the cursor is in the text entry state, then click the "Send" button. The text will automatically be sent to the target application.
If you find it troublesome to manually close this window every time after copying, you can check the "Automatically close after sending or copying text" option.

Chapter 5: Other Settings
You can click to open more settings.
In the settings window, you can configure the behavior of the A and B keys on the mobile app. You can also adjust the font size of the subtitles during voice input and the size of the workspace.
Every AI VoiceWriter portable software USB drive contains a unique VoiceID. When you replace an AI VoiceWriter USB drive, you can choose "Clear Connection Records," allowing AI VoiceWriter to display a new VoiceID upon startup so you can re-scan it with the mobile app to establish a new connection.
