Q1.1 Why can’t my pen connect to the app automatically?

Please follow these steps:

1. Turn on the pen first (slide the switch down for about 3 seconds until the green light turns on).
 
2. Then open the Notique AI App on your phone.
 

Tips:

• The app scans for nearby pens within the first 3 seconds after launch.If the pen isn’t already powered on, it won’t be detected.
• ✅ Recommended order: Turn on the pen → then open the app.

Q1.2 Why does the app ask for Bluetooth and Location permissions?

You need to enable Bluetooth and Location permissions, and keep your internet connection on.

• Bluetooth: Transfers recordings from your pen to the app.
• Internet: Uploads and backs up your recordings to the cloud.

Tips:

For privacy protection, Android and iOS treat Bluetooth scanning as a type of “location access.”That’s why location permission is required when the app searches for Bluetooth devices.

Q1.3 Do I need to connect the pen to the app to record?

No. The Notique AI Pen can record independently, just like a regular pen.The app is only needed for transferring and managing recordings.

Q1.4 Why does file transfer stop when charging via computer?

When connected to a computer, the pen appears as a USB drive,which temporarily disables Bluetooth and stops wireless transfer.

Tips: Use your computer only for charging, not for data transfer at the same time.

Q1.5 Why do I see a drive named “DVR-611” when connecting to a computer?

That’s the pen’s internal storage.  All files are encrypted and can’t be played directly.

Tips: Always manage recordings through the Notique AI App.
