Issue Description
Some users may experience slow download speeds when using our recorder with an iPhone 16e or iPhone 17. The issue typically appears as follows:
- The download speed is normal at the beginning
- The speed becomes significantly slower during the download process
This issue is not caused by the recorder itself. It is related to a Bluetooth performance issue on iPhone 16e / iPhone 17, where Bluetooth data transfer may be affected under certain conditions.
Below are several effective solutions, listed from simple to more advanced. Please try them in order.
Solution 1: Reduce the Number of Connected Bluetooth Devices (Recommended First Step)
Connecting multiple Bluetooth devices at the same time may reduce available bandwidth and affect data transfer performance.
Recommended actions:
- Connect only one Bluetooth device at a time (the recorder)
- Temporarily disconnect or turn off unnecessary Bluetooth accessories, such as:
- Apple Watch
- Fitness trackers
- Wireless earbuds or other Bluetooth peripherals
After doing this, try downloading the recordings again and check whether the speed improves.
Solution 2: Reset the Bluetooth Connection
If the issue persists, the Bluetooth pairing information may be unstable. Re-establishing the Bluetooth connection can often resolve this.
Steps:
- Go to Settings > Bluetooth
- Tap the “i” (Info) icon next to the recorder
- Select Forget This Device
- Restart your iPhone 16e / iPhone 17
- Re-pair the recorder via Bluetooth
Once pairing is complete, try downloading the recordings again.
Solution 3: Reset Network Settings (Advanced)
If Bluetooth issues continue, resetting network settings may help resolve underlying system conflicts.
⚠️ Important:
This action will erase saved Wi-Fi networks and passwords.
Steps:
- Go to Settings > General
- Tap Transfer or Reset iPhone
- Select Reset > Reset Network Settings
- After the reset, reconnect the recorder via Bluetooth and test the download speed
Solution 4: Update to the Latest Official iOS Version (Strongly Recommended)
Apple may address Bluetooth-related issues in newer iOS updates. Please ensure your device is running the latest official iOS version.
Steps:
- Go to Settings > General > Software Update
- Check for available iOS updates
- Install the latest version
After updating, restart your iPhone and test the recording download again.
Summary
On iPhone 16e and iPhone 17, Bluetooth performance under certain conditions may impact download speed when using the recorder. In most cases, the issue can be resolved by:
- Reducing the number of connected Bluetooth devices
- Re-pairing the Bluetooth connection
- Resetting network settings if necessary
- Keeping iOS up to date
If the problem persists after trying all the steps above, please contact customer support and provide your iOS version and usage scenario so we can assist you further.
